Our story
Our journey began during our university years, with roots at Lund University and the University of Edinburgh.
Co-founder Joseph Liang moved to Sweden at a young age and has long wanted to create fun toys. He founded LEKY with two friends from the University of Edinburgh and King’s College London, united by the idea that imagination could make toys more interesting.
That ambition still shapes our work: bringing creativity, speed and product innovation together to explore what play can be.

LEKY is an early-stage company developing its product range and building international sales channels. We plan to begin with a focused selection, test products in international markets and expand in response to customer demand and market feedback.
Our target markets
Our initial market priorities are the United States, the United Kingdom, Sweden and Australia. Our longer-term expansion plans include the wider European market, followed by Asia.
Manufacturing partnerships
We are seeking OEM and ODM manufacturing partners interested in growing with LEKY. Our aim is to develop lasting relationships with a small group of reliable partners who can support product development, quality control and scalable production.
Our long-term vision
We want to build a growing portfolio of plush toys, toys and collectibles, with fun at its heart. Our planned channels include online marketplaces, our own e-commerce channels, distributors and, over time, major retail partners.
As products gain traction, we aim to develop new ideas with our partners and increase order volumes gradually.
